We are seeking a motivated Unarmed and Armed Security Guards to become an integral part of our team for positions available across Los Angeles County.
Security guards will perform various duties and tasks as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders.
Unarmed and Armed Security guards will be responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Unarmed and Armed Guards will act as a visible deterrent to crime and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.
Responsibilities and Duties may include:
- Interaction with a variety of people including clients, visitors, employees, contractors and the general public.
- Be alert and watchful of any irregular situation that may be dangerous
- Keeping track of daily activities and logging them properly in DARs
- Conduct patrols to ensure doors, gates, windows are properly secured.
- Monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Maintain constant surveillance of assigned areas.
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Report any issues
Requirements:
- Must Possess a valid Guard Card
- Previous Military/Law Enforcement Experience
- For armed security guards valid firearms permit issued by BSIS, and must have your own firearm
- Must have reliable transportation to and from all worksites, and must maintain updated contact information
- Security Uniforms with Black Shoes must be worn pressed & clean while on duty.
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must have integrity and desire to protect and serve
- Strong attention to Details.
- Must be punctual.
Physical Requirements and Environment:
May be subject to Outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat.
Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing.

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
