Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Guides guests and visitors on brewery tours
- Offers excellent customer service to our guests while educating them on our beers, culture and business practices
- Basic retail operations including merchandise stocking/handling, register/money handling and reconciling
- Working understanding and practice of local laws/guidelines around identification and service of alcohol. TIPS trained
- Working understanding and practice of New Belgium’s branding theories, practices, and strategic vision
- Working understanding and practice of New Belgium’s safety guidelines
Desired Skills/Experience (but not limited to):
- Solid customer service skills and abilities. Minimum of six (6) months of customer service related work experience
- Expert ability to work in a multi-task environment with a team
- Solid communication skills and the ability to speak in front of large groups of people in an eloquent and clear way
- Basic computer skills and abilities
- Basic knowledge of Brewing and the beer industry
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority
- Ability to interpret, understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
Ability to deal with difficult situations as they arise and to resolve matters in an appropriate and effective manner - Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- A post offer/pre-hire assessment will be performed to insure the candidate can meet the physical requirements of the job:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs. 10 inches, and carry up to 40 lbs 100 feet.
- Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases.
- Must also show fine motor dexterity.
- Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead.
- The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Wage: $20.00
